I’m New Here.
Walking into a new church for the first time can be hectic and confusing. We’re here to do whatever we can to make your visit comfortable. Coffee and snacks are available in the atrium lobby between services until at least 10:45am. Help yourself! If you need anything during your visit, please see an usher in the back and they’ll be happy to help.

What is offered during Bible Study?
We offer several adult bible studies each week. We have bible studies for junior & senior high students and Sunday school for ages 4-4th grade.

What should I wear?
We want you to be comfortable when you are here. You will find that some members prefer jeans while others prefer something a little more dressy. You might even see a few dressed in their favorite sports jersey, ready to cheer their team on later that day!
-
Where should I park?
Ample parking is available in the rear of the building where are main entrance is located. You will also find designated spots for our guests. Our front parking lot is used for overflow.
-
Do kids go to church, too?
Yes! We encourage parents to bring their young children to church. We love hearing them and don’t mind the noise at all. There is a children’s message, too, just for them prior to the sermon. We also have kids activity bags for you to borrow located in the back of church.
However, if you need a break, we have a staffed nursery during our 10:30a service.
-
Can I take communion?
Please read the details about what we believe about communion. If you agree, you may come to the altar and participate.
If you are not physically able to join us at the altar and would like to receive Communion in your seat, please notify the pastor or an usher before the service. Packaged gluten-free wafers and juice are available. If you are not receiving Holy Communion but would like to receive a blessing from the pastor, please cross your arms over your chest at the communion rail.

How can I become a member?
Everyone wishing to become a member must attend a 6-week orientation class called the New Member class. For some, it will be a review of faith but alot about Abiding Savior. For others, you will learn what it means to be Lutheran and what it means to be a member of Abiding Savior.
